Engineering firm rehabilitates historic
industrial building and makes it their new home
The Need
Stantec is an international engineering firm that grew to collaborate across various disciplines and industries. They are based in Edmonton, Canada but believe in a sense of community, creativity, and client relationships in all of their locations. They had just one location in Rochester before they bought a local firm. With the many acquisitions, Stantec was left with three different locations that all had different lease expiration dates and were determined to figure out a way to cut their costs.
The BellCornerstone Approach
BellCornerstone first worked with Stantec to consolidate its business in the area by operating at a more efficient level. Through this partnership, BellCornerstone was able to attain significant savings for Stantec at each step of the transition process, which took over 3½ years of negotiating to bring about the successful result.
The Result
In consolidating Stantec’s operation, BellCornerstone was able to find a rehabilitated modern take on a historic industrial building in Rochester that perfectly fit the needs and character of Stantec’s business.
